BARRAQUERO

BARRAQUERO is out for the rest of the season, he suffered a small fissure in his shin which he sustained in The Richmond which has proved difficult to heal while trying to prepare him for The Middle Park. Whilst it is a minor injury it does require some time off to heal properly, therefore he will not run again this season. He will now enjoy the winter off and be prepared for the Guineas next year.

ASCOT

1.35 – SOLDIERS BAY – He ran a cracking race on his racecourse debut and looked very promising. He will have learnt plenty from the experience and I think he could be very competitive here at Ascot. Jimmy Fortune rides.

4.30 – CARLINI – This will be his third run which will see him get handicapped. I hope he can improve on his previous two runs, he has been working well at home and is on good form ahead of Saturday. Jimmy Fortune takes the ride.
