Wednesday’s Runners

MOKUBA runs in the 2.35pm at Newmarket on Wednesday, he is drawn 12 of 13 and Harry Bentley takes the ride. Mokuba has been in good form of late and has been working well alongside other 2yo winners. I am hopeful of a solid performance however I am aware that he may need the experience first time up.

KAAFY also runs in the 2.35pm at Newmarket on Wednesday, he is drawn 5 of 13 and Jim Crowley takes the ride. Unlike Mokuba, Kaafy has had the benefit of a first run and after that solid performance at Newbury, I am confident of a good run. He also has been working well enough at home.

ARTISTIC LANGUAGE runs in the 3.10pm at Newmarket on Wednesday, he is drawn 6 of 11 and Ryan Moore takes the ride. He was much improved when 2nd at Salisbury of 12 over 1 mile and impressed me the way in which he travelled and progressed through the race. He is a lovely big horse that I suspect may have a big future.

LAXMI runs in the 5.30pm at Newmarket on Wednesday, she is drawn 13 of 14 and Harry Bentley takes the ride. She has been working very well recently and filled out a huge amount of her prior narrow frame. She looks much stronger now and her performance on the grass has much improved which therefore fills me with confidence that she could run a nice race on Wednesday.

SALAM ZAYED runs in the 5.25pm at Chelmsford on Wednesday, he is drawn 3 of 9 and Liam Keniry takes the ride. Salam Zayed in a very relaxed horse however as shown last time out at Bath, the blinkers do in fact manage to light him up. Although they may have had an over effect at Bath, if he can be contained until the second half of the race, he could put up a nice performance.

SOLDIER’S BAY runs in the 7.00pm at Chelmsford on Wednesday, he is drawn 4 of 7 and Liam Keniry takes the ride. He has been in good from of late and this was proven in his last run. This race looks like a step down from that race and it looks like a good place to get him off the mark.
